Ingredients

- 1 Quart Strawberries
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1/3 Cup Corn Starch
- 9 Inch baked pie crust
Instructions
- Mix sugar and corn starch together, set aside
- Place all but one cup of strawberries in the 9-inch baked pie crust
- Smash the 1 Cup of strawberries
- Cook the smashed strawberries until they begin to bubble
- Add corn starch and sugar mixture to the smashed strawberries
- Cook smashed strawberries until think and glossy
- Pour the cooked strawberries over the strawberries in the pie crust
- Chill for several hours
- Serve with sweetened whipped cream
